The Federal Aviation Administration proposes a $306,000 civil penalty against Simulator Center LLC, a pilot training center in Sanford, Florida. The FAA announced the proposed penalty on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

The FAA alleges that the training center allowed numerous unqualified instructors to provide flight training. The agency also alleges that Simulator Center LLC failed to ensure several students completed the required training before recommending them for FAA certification.

The alleged violations occurred between January 2022 and April 2023. The FAA further alleges that instructors used unapproved training devices for those tasks and conducted training at an unlisted location.

The agency also alleges that Simulator Center LLC failed to maintain accurate training records.
